recruIting now for industrial, commercial, exploration, and security gameplay
CONAM provides mentoring and group gameplay opportunities without the rigid structure and commitments other orgs require.
Officially started in 2018, CONAM was the Spectrum organization extension of what was originally a Discord server to hang out in while goofing off in Star Citizen. Over the years we watched the Stanton system grow, but we never took the plunge to push the org any further than a revolving handful of folks who came in and out of the game.
Also, we bought ships. A lot of ships. Ships that just cry out for an org large enough to use them.
Mining. Salvaging. Mission running. Bounty hunting. We're still at present not a large group, but we're doing more and more as a group and having more and more fun doing it. We've already made a few fantastic new friends, and we're hoping for more.
We aren't the youngest ponies in the stable, but we know our gaming and enjoy others' company. Nothing too "leet," nothing too hardcore, just supporters enjoying the game, looking for folks of any age, skill level, or time zone who want to enjoy it with us.
In the future, CONAM is looking to focus on what we call ICES gameplay. This encompasses the legal play loops CIG are building (or that players build themselves). We will not push unending growth past the point where it's no longer about the fun, but we'll be larger than we are now. Owning outposts and stations, taking advantage of what a UEE legal org can afford us, and continuing to love this amazing game as it grows and matures are all on the menu. Won't you come along for the ride?
... the videos below will get the blood pumping and fire up the imagination!
This seamless voyage across two star systems is done in engine and shows current and near future additions to the Star Citizen playable persistent universe as of November, 2023. If you've never seen the game, this is a great introduction to what it looks like.
Star Citizen ship commercials never get old! Here's the Kraken, which CONAM will use much as this depicts; as a forward operating base for maximum security. Not yet flyable, but we're ready for when she is.
There is a certain familiar vibe about the Fury. We usually have a few of these tucked away on our big ships. They are a kick in the pants to fly and are pretty handy for when danger comes knocking.
There are dropships, and then there's the Valkyrie. Capable of carrying vehicles, troops, and providing massive fire support, CONAM uses this versatile mission runner right now for bunkers and other FPS gameplay.
Industrial gameplay. If you want to make credits, this is a great way. But it's not just a mindless grind to finance the fun stuff. Mining in Star Citizen is an adventure in itself, and when CONAM takes out the MOLEs the fun begins.
The largest ship currently in the game, the 890J is a capital sized space yacht. Oddly, she makes a very serviceable light carrier and can haul a small army of ground vehicles, making her a great large scale mission runner. CONAM's is the "Sweet Nectar," and sweet she is.
Space trucking is so many people's dream, and the Hull series from MISC is one way to achieve it on a grand scale. Whatever ships we choose to use, CONAM pilots are hauling freight to buyers all the time.
Star Citizen takes place at every scale, from massive ships in deep space to all-terrain vehicles picking through challenging landscapes. The ROC lets us bring a powerful mining setup into otherwise hard to reach places, and comes in one or two seat variants.
Salvage is a vital industrial gameplay loop in a universe where wrecks don't just despawn on their own, and a lucrative one too. CONAM does run the mighty Reclaimer for multicrew salvage, but the versatile Vulture is great for single-seat credit making.
Whoever said that all-terrain ground transport has to be boring or utilitarian? Well whoever did, they never rode in a Lynx. CONAM uses these vehicles to provide mission running transport with a little excitement and flair.
Crusader Industries makes large ships that handle well, and the cargo haulers and bomber of the Hercules Starlifter series are no exception. With cavernous bays and true roll-on/roll-off capability, CONAM has used these ships to haul cargo and combat vehicles with equal ease.
