recruIting now for industrial, commercial, exploration, and security gameplay
All experience levels, all legal playstyles. The only folks we're not looking for are those who want to extort, steal, or get their kicks through violence or the threat of violence. No pirates, no griefers. Bounty Hunter/Mercenary PvP? We want you. Bounty Hunter/Mercenary PvE? We want you. Want to mine or salvage? We want you. Dream of being a space trucker? We want you. Total and complete casual? We want you. Have no clue what any of that even means? We want you.
Unlike many recruiting Star Citizen orgs, CONAM requires neither a role commitment nor any org training/certification to fulfill a role. In CONAM we work within ICES: Industrial, Commercial, Exploration, and Security gameplay. Which of these you pursue is entirely your decision, and you may pursue as many or as few as you like. With CONAM you can be your own person, you just don't have to be a person on your own.
At CONAM, we are not going to lose sight of the fact that we play games to have fun. Trying to require our members to be online at certain times and for certain durations sounds too much like a job, and while we would love to enrich your in-game bottom line we're not your employer. In CONAM, we'll arrange group events well in advance on a join as you wish, leave as you need basis, and tailor the activity to support whatever attendance we get.
CONAM has no shortage of org-use multicrew vessels for every role. Individual members are required to have nothing more than the starter ship and game package of their choice, and will still be able to earn credits from mining, salvaging, or whatever activity the org is engaged in. While people who have access to various other vessels will always be welcome at CONAM and we strive to be "whale" friendly, you don't have to have flippers and baleen to fit right in at CONAM.
Yes. Star Citizen is an open PvP game, and we won't shrink from that. Security gameplay means not only protecting our ships and others from players and NPCs, it also includes bounty hunting and mercenary gameplay. The org will support legal combat in all its forms.
No. We work too hard for our credits not to respect that others work hard for theirs too. Whether it's done for profit or for kicks, attacking non-bounty, non-red players who are not posing a threat to our vessels or the vessels of others is not gameplay that fits into the guild's ICES focus.
Yes. While it's understandable, especially considering the current state of the game, that you may at times incur a crimestat, we do ask that you resolve it prior to participating in multi-crew org events. Having turrets or players open up on an Org ship because it's flagged red or you carry a bounty, or being unable to land and sell in a non-pirate station would impact our ICES gameplay.
This is something that some organizations actively fight against, for various alleged reasons. CONAM has no objection in principle to your using footage of org ships and members so long as the members know and agree to the recording and use. However, as CONAM is frequently reliant on operational security to prevent pirates or others from knowing where and when we have high value items, streaming will only be allowed when no risk exists. And as we often use locations repeatedly, any verbal information or imagery shared in a stream, video, podcast, etcetera that can reasonably pinpoint CONAM's favored locations for mining, salvage, or other activity is not permitted.
So conditionally yes, as long as CONAM's operations are not affected. We claim no ownership of the imagery of organization assets or activities. Please use good judgment and keep us aware when we're being streamed or recorded.
